- Independent Engineer – Employed either by the PFI provider or principal
contractor to provide impartial validation and certification of the commissioning
process, from design review through to final performance testing.
- Commissioning Manager – Employed either by the principal contractor to
co-ordinate the complete commissioning process, including design review, commissioning
plan production, testing and commissioning co-ordination, witnessing and demonstration
to the satisfaction of the independent tester, FM team, statutory authorities
and ultimate employer / end user.
- Commissioning - Employed either by the principal contractor or installing sub-contractor
as a stand-alone commissioning package to co-ordinate, commission, performance
